Scenic Highlights

Winter Wonderland In Dubai

In the heart of the Mall of the Emirates, Ski Dubai brings a slice of winter to the desert. Spread across 22,500 square meters, this indoor snow park has been thrilling visitors since 2005. It features an 85-meter-high indoor mountain, five ski runs of varying difficulty levels, including a 400-meter slope and a daring Black Diamond run, as well as numerous activities suitable for all ages. With temperatures kept between −1°C and 2°C, guests can ski, snowboard, meet penguins, or simply enjoy the magic of snow while the city outside basks in sunshine.

What’s It Like Inside

Ski Dubai isn’t just about slopes. There’s a Snow Park with rides like the Mountain Thriller, Snow Bullet (zip line across snow), bobsled, tubing runs, snow bumpers, ice caves, snow plough playgrounds, tobogganing, you name it.

For non-skiers or younger kids, there are gentler zones and plenty of snow play. If you’re lucky, you can even join a Penguin Encounter, watch penguins, learn about them, and maybe even meet them up close. It’s a hit with families.

You’ll also find chairlifts and drag lifts to take you up slopes without climbing; that helps when you're doing multiple runs. Snow gear rental is included in many ticket types. Gloves, helmets, boots, all there, so you don’t need to bring heavy gear.

Best Time & Timings

Ski Dubai is open most days, with slightly different hours on weekends. Normally: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM during weekdays, with later hours (midnight) on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you want fewer crowds, go early on a weekday. Mid-morning to early afternoon is the calmest. Also, outside major holidays is better. Despite being indoors, holiday seasons draw bigger crowds.

Tickets & What They Include

There are different ticket options (“passes”) depending on what you want to do:

Prices vary: Snow Park basic passes come around AED 178-200+, slope passes are higher, maybe AED 240-340+ depending on duration and inclusions. Packages with penguin encounters push the price further.
